Simply, Good Job.
A few weeks ago a friend told me I was doing a good job. It meant a million bucks. Half the time I do not know if I am coming or going. Being a person with tons of interests and many talents, it is extremely hard to channel that energy in one direction. In the short 8 months The Buzzed Badger has been open, a lot of changes has happened. Some great, some good, some okay, some not so good. Jemarie and I can see the positive growth in our business and personal lives, but there is still so much more to do.
To be honest, I do not know exactly what I want to do. But I do feel a lot closer to where I want to be in my life. Great people have come into my circle…now I have DIY Divas, Foodie Friends, Beer Buds, and Brunch Besties that keep my days full of laughter.
When those mundane days seem more consistent in your life, remember that you are important to those around you. The efforts you put out there are not going unnoticed and the emotional, motivational, and maybe financial support you provide for your family and friends create just what they need to push through whatever self doubt they could be going through.
Thank you, Friend, for those kind words that day. It was just what I needed to hear. In the voice of Drake…ooh, I needed that. I did not know at that moment how much it has impacted me, but I am more motivated to gain the resources necessary to add to society with my own special skill sets. #ShanykaMagic
Many people working hard and not being noticed. Tell your co-workers, your employees, or a friend they are doing a good job. It will make their day.
